Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Celebration

An Ambassadorial Reception and Awards Dinner held on the third (3rd) Monday of January each year in New York City. First event was in January 1984. This event is one of the largest King Holiday Celebration in the country. (click here for information on the next scheduled King Holiday Celebration)  January 15, 2007

Harmony Awards Dinner

Annual banquet dinner and awards program saluting individuals who have helped to promote racial harmony by doing "the right thing -- not the race thing". Usually held in the summer. First event was July 1993. (click here for information on the next Harmony Awards Dinner)  August 7, 2006

Health Care Festival

Health Care Festival aimed at disseminating information on the various health care opportunities available. Attractions include free Blood Pressure, and Diabetes testing, Seminars and workshops conducted by health care professionals, food and entertainment. World Conference Series

As part of CORE's efforts to disseminate information to minorities here in America and to third world countries around the globe, CORE organized  a series of "World Conferences" to discuss some of the most controversial issues of our time. In cooperation with the United Nation's and other world bodies, these conferences bring together experts and professionals from around the world and with diverse opinions to debate the pros and cons of particular issues such as biotechnology and healthcare.
