James R. Duffy, Esq., is a partner in the law firm of Duffy, Duffy & Burdo, Esqs.. His distinguished career as a trial attorney has won him acclaim as being among the nation's elite of civil trial litigators. His expertise lies in medical malpractice; negligence and personal injuries inflicted upon them.

 

In addition to being an accomplished author of numerous legal articles and columns, Mr. Duffy has published a book on Lee Harvey Oswald which has been newly reissued under the title "Conspiracy: Who Killed JFK," an intriguing and provocative compilation of evidence from official government documents which disclosed a Lee Harvey Oswald quite distinct from the usual portrayal.

 

Prior to being admitted to the New York Bar in 1966, Mr. Duffy received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from St. John's University, and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

 

Mr. Duffy is the founder and first president of the Long Island Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the board of directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and a trustee of Law-Pac, a trial lawyers lobbying organization. He has lectured before dozens of organizations, among them the American Cytology Association, Alexander Hamilton Inns of Court, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association. His affiliations include those organizations, as well as the American Bar Association and American Trial Lawyers Association.
